Season 10

Written by Dodge at 05:34 6/1-2010

Season 10. Dodge's first full season as a professional cycling team has been nothing short of spectacular. We've had our ups and downs, highs and lows but nothing beats the thrill of riding hard for the win every single time.

Highlights this season include Roland Rosinski's unbelievable win in the high profile Zyte GP classic or the team's hot midseason streak of 5 wins in 7 races.

As usual, Ian Defley led from the front with an astonishing 3 wins and a second place but there were also maiden victories for the likes of Rosinski, Ronald Peavy and the young and upcoming Eldon Mallard.

Veteran rider William Yotsler is still seeking his first win and was unlucky to just miss out on a podium finish at the Hellur GP but more than made up for it with 4 fine placing finishes.

Also earning an honorable mention were the pair of Hartley Natcher and Eli Harkins who managed comendable third place finishes in Austria and Spain.

New blood brought in this season included NSW sprint gun Fergal Mosley and Tasmanian climber Heathcliff Fooks. The team also wishes to thank guest riders Ethanael Mathisen (USA) and Finn Nilsen (Norway) for their contributions at various parts of this season.

With such promising results from a season that saw the team rise to the upper echelons of OCM, there is renewed hope in the future of the team and its ability to break into the Top Division. In fact, that breakthrough may just come sooner rather than later in Season 11.
